Wow, Pat that is even a funnier story. One never thinks about fans connected to the lights as a safety hazard. How scary. We did have a good laugh afterwards, though and it is a great story for your grandchildren. It was so nice to meet you in person and I hope to see you in Utah. I loved your winter frost leaves. What beautiful colors. |

So Sorry, I didn't mention on how I did this. Being limited on time, I relied on Topaz Impressions . First did a bit of cloning and removing distracting elements from the background to give a clean slate to paint on. I also used Viveza to add structure to the sky. I found this Topaz painting technique took a bit too much off the faces and horses so I masked the painting and brought back some of the original detail. |

You must of added the night sky (Milky Way?) What a beautiful scene with the painted version and its magnificent sky and reflection that make this image. |

Hi Pat, great idea, I have one that looks like the original 1. Being on the same dinner cruise, I need to work on my images that didn't quite make the sharp look as it got dark. Nicely done. Also, congratulations on your image selected for the web display- Just lovely colors. I really like your original 2 here as well, but you brought life to it with the painting of the reflections. |

It is as beautiful as I remember. I slipped on ice last winter and fractured my wrist Feb 2017 but I still love the place. You certainly captured the beautiful colors of sunrise. The slight art look was probably a good choice , but what would it look like with more brush strokes? |
