Kathy, the painting really enhanced this image. Love what you did with the window scene and toning of the light. Your painting turned this into a real winner. Nice soft painting strokes, too. |

Hi Pat, What fun, also, a nice job with the painting on the face . The lighting on the face was a bit hot so in my review I reduced the brightness and added warmth. Just to give a twist to the hair I used the mixer brush to go over some of the hair edges. Just a thought. |

Such a beautiful area. As a suggestion, you may want to crop a bit on the left to eliminate some of the bright white on the edge. In my review image, I use NIK Viveza to reduce the brightness of the water, and a slight crop. |

Hi Cheryl, What a lovely image and composition. I too had to look carefully to determine where you made your painterly changes. However, the image does not always have to jump out at the viewer and for many color exhibitions this would be fine. However, for this group you might want to take a step to try to make it a bit more painterly and more of a painting. One thing you might want to consider is make the lantern more your center subject and reduce the light on the one plant on the right. In my review I cropped it a bit and added a vignette. |
