Thanks Gordon! I had done a vertical version when I was working with it. I'll try a square as well. |

Thanks Theresa! I agree with the horizon breaking the yucca.I looked back and I did do a closer shot with the yucca above the dune. I tried taking out the footprints last week and the sand lines look unnatural. So I will leave them in. |

I didn't try and remove the footprints because of the ridges in the sand. I can see if the clone tool makes it doable. Yes, the sand is a bit bright especially behind the yucca. I'll try and bring it down. Thanks so much! |

The light is beautiful. I like the angling down of the bridge to the far side. The posts lead you across the photo. I like Marla's reduced texture in the water. I think it's a lovely shot. I don't think I can add any suggestion. |

Great winter scene. Was it a cloudy or overcast day? I'm trying to understand the shadowed look to the top of the mountains. Everything seems overcast except the center. Maybe, bring up the shadows to even the contrast out? And bring out some of the detail of the trees. I like the flowing lines in each of the layers. It brings your eye back to Pikes Peak. I'm going to play with it and I'll repost. Nice capture!
Update: I played with it, but don't think it's changed much. Just some shadows off the trees. |

I love this composite! I can see the difficulty in the original. It really speaks solitude to me. The only thing for me that is difficult to distinguish is that it is water reflecting past the bench. The hill reflection is confusing to my eye. I'm wondering if just slightly lightening the opposite shoreline enough to distinguish the real hill from the reflection? I do love how you created something better from the shot. Great work! |

Amazing shot! You caught so many different textures. I do like your edit of the sky. I definitely love the black and white. Although the color would be great for their series of vintage National Park postcards. I've been collecting them. Great capture! |

You found a great spot! The house is very interesting. The grass is beautiful. The sky on the right felt overpowering to me. I love the fog too.
I played around with it a bit. Cropped out some of the right sky. Took out the power line. And then I played with the fog to give some darker areas to possibly create some depth. You can hate it. haha
I think you captured a great location and moment. I bet the owners would love your shot! |

What a great location! I love the wave and cliff. Very strong. I feel like the lighthouse gets lost in the browns and clouds. I think working that area a bit more in processing would help bring out the lighthouse. I think the composition is great and would be a place I would return to to try other shots. |

Thank you John! I'm sure I did some contrast. But it is similar in tone throughout. I will give that a try. Thanks! |
