Thank you, Gordon. I did the horizon straightening in Lightroom. I guess it didn't get it right. I'll check it again.
Ohhh, I could try that with the water. Good thought. I cleaned up the beach to make it look nicer. I'll play around with the blur and see what it looks like.
Thanks! |

Thanks John. I always do Lightroom horizon straightening function. Maybe the pier tricked it? I'll check it again.
I think the spot is a seagull, unless I missed a sensor spot. I always go through my photos at 200% in PS and get rid of sensor spots. I have to find a place here in FL to clean it again.
I'll touch it up. Thanks so much! |

Thank you Mike! I'm going to get closer next time and give the pier more presence. |

What a great chance to catch the reflection. It's a very pretty area. I like the person walking passed the seagull. The whole scene has a nice active feel. The orange cliff walls seem to glow.
The only thing I might try is cropping out some of the dark water at the bottom. You will lose some of the right reflection, but I feel more in the scene when I hide some of the water at the bottom. The scene seems a bit brighter too.
Great photo! |

I think this is one of your best shots! I love it (minus the road too). All the layers and textures brings us into that beautiful space. Finding the fog in the valley is a nice little surprise. The golden clouds are beautiful. You did a fantastic job capturing this moment!! |

I love 'wild' horse photos. Such freedom in them. I think the rocks give them context but maybe a little off the top would make the horses a bit stronger. It brings the horizon just passed the middle. I do like the 2nd rock ridge from the top. The horses are beautiful. All different gaits. It is a great wild west shot! |

Wow, the textures and shades of the mountains are fantastic! Very strong. I find my eye keeps trying to find focus on the moving clouds. I think because the mountains are so sharp. When I cover half of the top half of the clouds, I have a more peaceful sense. Could totally be me though! It's a powerful image. And I totally love it in black and white. |

At first looking at it, I feel like the mountains are floating in the clouds. I love the glow from the light. I like the bridge framed by the trees. I totally see what Gordon is saying. Cropping right above the bottom mountains leaves a strong bridge photo.
Also, to me, cropping everything left of the left tree makes it a bit stronger. The light of the far left mountain seems to drag my eye off the photo. Cropping off that part leaves a strongly framed bridge and highlighted mountains.
Glad you were able to capture this beautiful shot! It looks like a great area. |
