3 Aug 19 Comment Gorgeous image! I love all the layers of different lights. 6.2 seconds seems like a really good length of time to catch so much. I'll have to try it. Aug 27th

71 Aug 19 Reply Thanks Theresa! I think cropping out the darker clouds does help. Makes it more about the sunset and boat. Thanks! Aug 24th
71 Aug 19 Reply Thanks Mike! I will play around with it more. Yes, I moved to Pensacola, FL the beginning of July. NM just wasn't the right place for me. A new place to explore!! Aug 24th
71 Aug 19 Reply Thank you Gordon! I will try desaturating and see how I like it. Thanks! Aug 19th
71 Aug 19 Comment Such a tender and beautiful shot. The snow creates so much texture and the tree silhouettes are a nice lower frame. I think it's a beautiful moment to remember. Aug 19th
71 Aug 19 Comment Great shot! I feel like I'm there. I love the boldness of the fence filling a major space in the shot. I like all the textures and layers in the background. You're gonna laugh, but the only thing I would remove is that little orange color on the far right fence. I love the shot! Great job! Aug 19th
71 Aug 19 Comment This photo has a very ethereal feeling. I love the shine and movement in the water. I like the varied color of the main rock. The 2 floating rocks are confusing to me. I like their coloring but I see 2 flat spot-lit ground patches. Is there a way to lighten their edges a bit to give them a bit of deeper shape? They are an interesting addition to the shot. Very nice capture! Aug 19th
71 Aug 19 Comment I like remnants of things. It would be nice to be able to read the sign to give insights. I think my only suggestion is a bit of cropping. The bottom left corner, some of the sky and the empty space on the right. Not to include the other bit of bridge in the background. I think the cropping will bring more focus to the bridge and sign. I might also remove the light pole to the left of the bridge. It's the same height as the bridge. Removing it, makes the bridge the high point in the photo.

Great job on capturing a little bit of history!

71 Aug 19 Comment You really made this landscape look magical with the layers and colors! I love the haze over the mountains. I'm wondering if filling in those lighter spots at the bottom with some green might allow your eye to move more easily to the back? I seem to want to see what is in the light spots. I did just a quick cloning of those spots. I think it's a beautiful shot! Aug 16th
71 Aug 19 Comment Very beautiful! I like the silhouette of the buildings. I like that they are different shapes. The little bit of building on the right, is it necessary? It feels a little distracting to me. I love the warmth of the gradient sky and reflections. John mentioned increasing the exposure on the buildings. I also wouldn't mind the opposite and darkening them a bit to be even more silhouetted. Lots of options. I really like the photo! Aug 16th
71 Aug 19 Reply Thanks John! It may be in the middle on my original shot. I thought I read it shouldn't be in the middle to I cropped it off center. I do like it vertical! It feels like more of a sense of moving away. Thanks for the suggestion! Aug 16th
71 Aug 19 Reply Thanks Marla! Yes, I want to get out more and try longer exposures. This was taken from the Fort Pickens beach area and I haven't been back there yet. I'll share when I do. Aug 16th
