Fire in the skies. Dynamic capture! I love the motion of the waves. The pier leads us to the beautiful sky. The golden color in the water makes it looks so inviting and the surfer is the icing on the cake. Great capture! |

I would be thrilled too. I love the reflections and the dynamic clouds. I agree some off the bottom would bring the boat more to the focal point.The colors and light are beautiful. I feel like I can feel the crisp air. Great job with the processing too. It's a beautiful shot!! |

Looks like he is headed right for you. haha Glad you got the shot. You got what you could in the moment. He is lit nicely. Your composition is strong with him directly heading for you. Sounds like it was a lovely evening in all. |

Such an amazing shot! I love the layers and the leading line up the center of the valley. I think the expanse of the shot increases the idea of accomplishment. The light on the climbers ties it together. Your stars look great. I think you did an awesome job creating this photo! |

Nice composition! I really like that the tree connects the background green to the barn. The circles in the grass with the straight lines of the barn add nice texture. My only suggestions is to make the power lines & pole disappear. Very pretty shot! |

Trinda, I liked the water color contrast too. Yes, I think the dehaze made it looks really red-pink. I figured ya'all would say it was too saturated. lol I didn't take it down too much. I did do level horizon in LR. I think the points on left trick your eye, but those far distance mountains look pretty level. I'll trying burning the left bottom. I see what you mean. I'll look at the crop. I don't want to lose the peaks.
I'm thinking this might be a great spot for sunrise? The right side peaks don't seem as high as at other spots. Maybe have less shadowing in the depths?
I've never been to the North Rim, so would like to do that one day too. Thanks so much!! |
