Trinda, Yes, I'm going to crop some of the sky. I think I cropped it 5X7 which left a lot of the sky. It will probably end up more a 16X9. I think those trees were the only ones right there. I'm going to play around with it a bit and see what I can do to lengthen the road or if I have a shot with more road. I like the vivid colors also. Thank you so much!! |

I seem to short roads regularly. haha I will have to try and do better. I can't remember if there was a reason. I'll look at my other shots and see if a I have better version. Thank you so much! |

Thank you Gordon! I like Theresa's edit as well. I will work on the saturation. I didn't isolate the sky from the trees, so it all got saturated the same. Thanks so much! |

Thank you Theresa for doing the edit. I agree it looks much better with less sky. It brings you eye down to the trees more. And the road sin't so lost in the photo. Going to work on it with my original. Thanks so much! |

Thank you Marla! Yes, I agree with everyone on the crop. I think I may have done it to a 5X7, where cutting the sky only will make it more of a 16X9 I think. But it is very empty space and needs to go. haha Thanks! |

Thank you Mike! Isn't it funny we just don't see things until someone else points it out. I would definitely agree with the sky. I think I liked the pretty blue. lol Will do this for sure! I don't think I have a shot with more road, but I will look at my other shots. Thanks! |

This photo truly tells the story of southern charm. I like that you are on one side of the street and not down the center. I like the tunnel feeling of the mossy trees. I'd say the sign could go too. It doesn't help tell the story of this quiet residential area. The splash of color in the bushes on each side help draw you eye down the street. It's a great shot!
I love shooting spanish moss and the patterns of the big twisty trees. I like shooting historic scenes, that tell of another place and time. |

Lovely shot! I think the Grand Canyon is a challenge to say the least. I agree watching the light move across it, is wonderful. But the shadows are such a challenge. I think you did a great job bringing up the light in the shadows. You can see some detail. The light across the peaks is soft and pretty. Very nice image!
I do like Marla's toning down the cliff light a bit. It seems to make the soft light match. |

Loveland was my first and only time I skied. And do I have stories! haha
I like the composition of the pano. I like the lines of the slopes and the trees and the ski lift. It is about the textures to me also. The clouds and the sky look great. I think this is a descriptive shot of what Loveland Ski area looks like. Nice job!
I'm wondering of cloning the trees at the center bottom and make them snow, would help the ski lift be seen better? I did a quick edit.

Great action shot! I feel like the wave is coming right at me. You caught the force of the wave with the smoothness. I like the steel blue of the water. It doesn't look typical. Your focal point is definitely the rock and wave with the rocks on the side as a frame. I don't know if you cropped it, but I might like seeing a little more water around the base of the rock. I bet the rock formations are great from the looks of these. love the powerful feeling of your capture. Great work! |

A very magical composition. The stars seem to melt down into the geyer mist. There is such a mix of textures. The smooth water against the rocky foreground. The speckled sky. My only question - what are the little blue "flames" in the rocky area? Reflections? Some look like they are going up and not a reflection. This is a wonderful capture. |

Very pretty! I like the reflection on the water. The silhouetted trees make water and sky like a peaking into a hidden treasure. Kudos for the late night! I keep saying I need to get out at night, but haven't yet. Lovely shot! |
