Thank you Trinda! I'll have to look through my photos. I like taking pics of solitary trees, maybe I have one that will work. It will be a further test/learning of my PS skills. haha
Happy New Year!! |

I love this shot! The reflections are beautiful. I agree with losing some of the dark on the top and bottom to make the boater pop a bit more. Did you crop as 16X9? I use that more and more on my wider shots that I don't want to lose the width. I like the grass of the left to give a little depth. It allows your eye to follow the boater through the water and you see it's a 'channel' of water. (Not sure I'm explaining this well) You did a great job capturing the fall beauty. And it makes me imagine how the boater feels as he floats passed the color. |

What a dramatic shot!! I love it. I like the tree silhouettes at the bottom. The golden light across the mountain area is a great contrast to the dark top and bottom. It has a fantasy feel about it. I see one little bright spot on the left just above the trees that seems out of place. It's a bright cloud I guess. I wouldn't mind losing that, just to keep my eye from going there. I really, really like this photo! |

Thank you John!! I tried lightening the ground, but it's a really ugly dirt parking lot. So, I may try and find a morning field and create a composite. Just have to get the light right. i just couldn't pass up that sky. It was amazing. Thanks! |

Thanks Marla! I will definitely keep the composite idea in mind. I don't mind them, just haven't done a lot. But that's a goal for 2019. I messed with lightening the ground, but it doesn't look great. I'm thinking I have to crop above the tree line for just a sky photo. And then do the composite when I find a nice morning field shot. |

A great wintery scene! It feels a bit vintage to me. Have you tried it in b/w or sepia? I like the low vantage point with the grass. The church in the fog is a bit mysterious and has a great feel. Did you do luminance in LR to reduce some of the grain? I like this shot a lot. |

There's a familiar sight! haha Was there over Thanksgiving too. I think you did a great job with stretching the shot. I like that this portion of road had some flow to it, not just straight. It does lead to the red rocks. I think black/white could be a good choice with the contrasting dark and light tones. It might give the fog some character. I like the shot. Would like to see your b/w version too! |

Beautiful shot! Love the sand ripples and the curve that moves you farther into the shot. It feels very balanced with the rocks. Wondering if a little more saturation of the orange would give it a more definitive sunrise feel? Just curious. I wouldn't mind cloning out the tip of the mountain in the far background. My eye keeps being drawn there.
It's a lovely shot even if you don't change anything! Would love to visit that way again. |

Thank you Theresa! The dark is an unsightly rural parking lot type place, so I'll see what I can do. I believe the warp is the natural ground incline. I did do a lens correction and leveling the horizon. I'm going to work on it some more. |

Thank you Mike! I will try and lighten. The problem is it's an ugly rural parking lot type place. Nothing nice about it. haha I will see if I can make any unsightly parts disappear. Will also work on the trees. |
