Thank you Trinda! haha I've come a long way. In my younger years, I would never stop in the empty highway for a shot or 'disobey' the rules. I got frustrated missing shots, so I've relaxed some. I guess the tree on the right has to go. I was trying to frame a bit, but I see your point of making the leading line more prominent. I'm going to work on a vertical version without the tree. Thanks so much! |

Thank you Marla! I will give the cloning a try. I was trying to frame the lake with the trees. Trinda suggested going vertical with it, so I will try that too. Thanks so much! |

Lovely shot! I like the layers of the rocks and the mist. It has great texture. I agree with bringing down the exposure in the center. I like Marla's B/W version. I think it has some good contrast thorughout the image. Do you have a B/W classification? I think it might do well there. I think you are the master of moving shots!! You do awesome work! |

Very nice composition. You have a nice flow to the water and the person is great. The detail of the trees really adds to the beauty fo the shot.
Have you tried cropping all or part of the dirt at the bottom out? I think it would bring us a bit more into the scene. I like the bridge in the back too. A closer shot of the person, bridge and stream would be another perspective.
Beautiful shot! |

I like Snapseed, but don't use it enough. This is a captivating image with the detailed reflection. I think the black and white is a good choice in processing. Color may be distracting to the lines and shapes. It is a fun shot that most people would pass by. |

Virginia, I love beach sunset/sunrise shots. The colors are beautiful. I think the bracketing worked well. I've never been too successful in bringing the sun brightness down too. But to me, that's how it usually looks to the eye. I love the misty mountains. It does feel very romantic! I think it's a very classic look for a beach. Would love to see the area in person!! Very nice shot! |

John, this is an amazing shot! I've been working on my night sky photography, but I've got a long way to go to get to this. I love the silhouettes of the trees. It feels very balanced with the large tree in front with the Milky Way above. Your stars look sharp. Just beautiful!! Welcome to the group! |

This is a lovely composition. I like the foreground, mid-ground and background. The frosty grass makes it very interesting. It feels like a secluded peaceful place. I don't see anything to improve it. Great job! |

Thank you Virginia! That's what I loved when we drive off the exit ramp. The whole picture. Usually I don't saturate enough, now it's too much. haha I'll look at in PS and see if I can tone it down. Thanks! |

Thank you Mike! I visited the actual lake once. It's a nice area. I'll look at the saturation on the sky. I focused 1/3 in at f20, not sure why it would look soft. I didn't use a tripod since we were on the exit ramp. I know the rocks are sharp. I'm wondering if creating the small file adds to the softness? Thanks! |

Thank you John! I didn't use any filters or HDR on this one. Yes with the sun overhead it did cause the water to be a bit over exposed. It really is a great area to show New Mexico's landscape. Thank you! |
