I do like the sky gone. It brings more focus to the pelicans, since they are the lightest spot in the photo. I think the pano looks great! |

Thank you Trinda! Yes, the 300mm gave me a lot of foreground that I cropped. But tried to keep as much of the mountain as I could. I liked what Marla did as well. More to learn! haha Thanks so much! |

Thank you Marla! I like what you did!! I haven't added contrast and clarity with an adjustment brush either. I'm trying to get better at the brushes in general. I can start with practicing on this photo. haha I appreciate the extra effort you always put into helping us make our images better!! I appreciate you!! |

Thank you Virginia! Marla did some adjustments that you suggested and I like them. It seems I'm always short on contrast and I'm not sure why. I try not to make it look too unnatural. I usually have it between 10-20 on the whole photo. But don't normally do it selectively to a part. Maybe that is what I'm missing? |

Love this image too!! The composition is beautiful and balanced. I think making it more golden brings up the interest as not just a beach shot. The gradient up the mountains is lovely. My only tweek is those 4 kind of spots at the tops of the mountains. Two on each. I feel like the whole face going up is smooth and rich and then I see those spots and they distract me. Definitely a print worthy shot!! Awesome! |

This is a very inviting shot. You did a great job with the colors and I like the tree framing the top. I think everything you did took it from a ok shot to a really nice place to visit. I must say, I don't mind the people gone. haha I tend to not like people in my shots unless they are the focus. But I also understand what the others are saying. I think this is a lovely peek into the park. Nice job! |

Thank you Mike! I love the skies here so much! Especially out in the side open spaces. I'm glad you agree on the softness. I was really trying to get some detail, but I probably needed a 600mm lens. Thank you!! |

I love the fall feeling of this shot! I had no idea they stopped in Central IL! I'm from IL in the St Louis area. I like the warm tones and hues throughout the scene. I also like the goose swimming in. I see what Mike is saying about the left pelican. I also see that pelican as the start of a leading line to the right. So depending on what you feel looks better. Overall I like the shot and the fall beauty!! |

Having seen this, I can appreciate it so well. You did awesome capturing the mass of birds! I love the cranes in the foreground as contrast to the massive white geese. I don't have any suggestions. Great shot! Did you say you were coming this month to see them? |

Wow, what amazing color!! It is a stunning shot. You are correct, the ripples do add interest. I agree with Mike on some of the colors in the waves that look a bit neon. Unless there is something to the right that is reflecting that bright. Maybe bring the saturation down just in those wavy areas? The sky looks perfect. I've never seen fishing nets like that, so it's a very interesting shot. Great job! |
