What do you think? Trinda thought the yellow was distracting. I think it looks better. I increased the saturation some from Pat's comment and put it thru Dfine. Thanks! |

Thank you Marla! I'm going to try and remove the road as Virginia suggested. I don't think they will know the difference. I'm enjoying doing panos right now, so I want to get this one looking better.
Thank you! |

Thanks Virginia! I'm going to give removing the road a try with some fill. I wish I would have moved around a bit and got a different angle. I was so focused on getting the pano, I didn't do it. Live and learn. haha |

This is a beautiful shot. I love the reflections in the water. It leads you to the building. The mountains give you the cozy feeling. It seems to be a beautiful location.
I know you want to show the whole place, so I will only suggest a slight crop on each side. On the left to remove the light pole and the colored buildings in the back. And on the right, to remove the trees on the edge of the shot. Stop at the edge of the 1st building. I like their reflection in the water.
Did you use Dehaze in Lightroom? |

You captured a beautiful shot. Removing the distractions is great. I like the leading line of the road between the rocks. The colors are beautiful. the more I look at it the blue mountains in the back seem to glow. I wouldn't mind cropping a little on the right and minimize the houses. I think it's a beautiful shot!!

This is an awesome building! And you did great replacing the sky. It definitely sets a moody tone. I see the comments on making the image brighter. Where was the sun before you replaced the sky? Is it in a similar place as this sky? That is the most common thing I've read that gives it an off feel. (I tried once and my friend said it felt off and it was the light) I don't see a lot of shadows, but possibly it was on the front of the grain elevator? And it looks like the sun is behind it in the clouds?
My photography club had a speaker this year that had won a bunch of composite awards. She was a master at it. And that was a major thing I took away was making sure the light source direction matches.
It is a great shot with a story behind those walls! |

Gorgeous shot! I think from the moving bus you did awesome! I love the surfer in the light. Do you think the spot healing brush to remove the people will be degrading? I wouldn't mind losing the some of the rocks on the right, but then you will lose the beautiful clouds.
I think you could crop to the lone surfer, waves and rocks as a square for Instagram, where you won't notice the pixelation so much.
It's a beautiful shot. Even in less than planned conditions, it's a wonderful photo to remember your trip by. |

What a fabulous scene!! I need to visit China!! I love the terrance and fog shrouded town! My eye seems to be drawn to the darker grey clouds on the left. Which feels a bit distracting to me. I wonder what cropping some off the left to lessen that darkness? I know you don't want to lose the terrance.
For you own learning, why did you choose 1/200 of a second?
It's a gorgeous scene shrouded in mystery. I love it! |

I'm so glad you got the shot! It reminds me of a far establishing shot of a western movie. I think if you could try Trinda's suggestion to bring out the mountains and sky a bit. I wonder if luminance in Lightroom would bring some of the noise down in the rain clouds? I see one small sensor spot 1/3 way down on the left.
Although knowing it was gonna happen would have been ideal. It's one of those priceless moments you have to grab whatever way possible. I think you did a great job capturing the moment!! |

Thanks Trinda! I'm going to try and crop the road out, but I'm afraid I will lose the mountain peak. I think I need to try and reshoot it. I'll hope for more great clouds! It isn't hard here. There seem to be awesome clouds all the time. I think I will try and change the yellow on the left. Either clone or maybe try and replace the color. I'm not too good at that yet. Thank you! |

Thank Pat! I will try and up the saturation. I do always add curves and saturation. But I try not to go to far, so it looks unnatural. I'll up it some and see how it looks. Thanks! |

Thanks Mike! I'm going to try it again. I will also try cropping it out. I just don't want to lose that peak on the mountain. |
