Thank you Pat!! I can work on my PS skills and add the cyclist. haha I haven't thought about black and white, but will give it a look. I love the beautiful gardens that so many of the plantations have. Thank you so much! |

Thank you Virginia! I looked thru my other images and they don't look like I got the back sharp. I probably focused wrong. Since getting older, it's so hard to see if things are sharp in the LED screen. I carry my reading glasses all the time now. haha I feel like they are and when I get home they aren't. I've attached one of the darker ones and the end of the road looks the same. I'm going to work on where I'm focusing and see if that's the problem. For the longest time, I didn't know my camera had a depth of field viewer button! That has come in handy too. Thank you so much! |

I love the feeling of this photo! The bridge, reflections, ducks and greens make it feel like an inviting location. I like the leading line of the river and ducks to the bridge. The clouds do give it a bit of drama. I think this is a wonderful photo and I don't see any way to improve it. Wonderful! |

Lovely shot Marla! I feel like I'm right in the valley. Like the Grand Canyon, the morning light on the peaks is hard to balance to me. I like your composition and coloring in the in the valley. Maybe a gnd filter would bring the mountain light down as Pat suggested. Utah and CO this summer sounds fantastic! I hope you get some more wonderful shots! |

National Geographic worthy!! You did a fabulous job getting low and wide! I love the rocks leading you into the water. The tree lined reflection leads you to the mountains and clouds in the background. I don't see anyway to improve this. Fabulous! |

Fantastic shot! I love the color reflections on the water. It almost seems like it isn't water. The exposure is wonderful bringing out all the different light effects. I don't see a way to improve it either. |

Beautiful shot Mike! I love, love the golden light. I went to the Bosque for New Years and saw the eagle when I was driving. I also like your composition. The tree and eagle lead your eye across to the trees and hills. The sky makes me feel the cold. The only thing I wonder is if you could lightly dodge the super dark area of the trees and just bring out a little of that area? This is a wonderful shot that shows the beauty of the Bosque. |

Thank you Mike!! I felt it looked soft too, but then wondered if it had to be sharp, sharp as it is trailing away. I probably didn't focus 1/3 way because there was nothing but road. But I need to pay more attention to that. This is the road leading into the gardens and there is no choice of an object in this area. Great things for me to keep focusing on when I am out shooting!! Thank you for your insights! |
