71 Jan 17 Comment Here is the original version of the tree. The fog was pretty heavy. Any suggestions for future shutter speeds or settings? Jan 25th
71 Jan 17 Reply Thanks Pat! This tree stands by itself at the end of a peninsula. There are groups of trees to the right. I was trying to isolate it in the fog. It was foggy & rainy and I guess the moss was moving a bit. I'm going to go back and look at photos, because I don't know how sharp I could have gotten with the fog? I love the shot and would like it to be good enough to sell. I appreciate your comments! Jan 25th
71 Jan 17 Reply It is a great tree. I like Debi's BW too! Appreciate your comments! Jan 25th
71 Jan 17 Reply Thanks Trinda! I was on the shore. It was a foggy, rainy morning. I guess the moss was blowing a bit. I think I was trying to keep the ISO low and slow shutter because of the fog. I'll look thru other shots and see if I took some with a faster shutter. I appreciate your comments! Jan 25th
71 Jan 17 Reply Thank you Virginia!! I played a little last night with a photo, just to see what it looked like. Jan 14th
71 Jan 17 Reply Marla,

I know mine disappeared too after an update. Here is a link that might help. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1850343 I can't find the link I shared with someone from my photography group which helped him get his back. If I find it, I'll share it too.

71 Jan 17 Comment Gorgeous shot!! Every area gives your eye color and texture to look experience. The fence is a beautiful focal piece. I don't have Topaz yet, but I love the paint-like feel of your photo. I think you caught an icon shot and processed it beautifully! Jan 11th
71 Jan 17 Comment There is definitely and air of mystery in this shot! I'm wondering what is around the corner. The bokeh add a nice pattern to the street light. The fog in the trees also brings up the chill factor.

I know you like the dark sides, but I'm wondering if cropping just a bit of the left side so that your eye is taken into the scene by that first tree? One the right, that red no parking sign on the light post could disappear. My eye wants to see what that white and red thing is.

I agree, sometimes the unplanned finds are better than the best planned ones. Great capture!!

71 Jan 17 Comment I agree with everyone. This is a gorgeous shot. You couldn't have asked for a more perfect moment. The boat is such a great touch. Fabulous!! Jan 11th
71 Jan 17 Comment I love Garden of the Gods! This is beautiful. The colors of the sky compliment the red rocks. The rays are wonderful reaching to the ground. They draw you in. I might like cropping a little of the foreground. Thru the short bush on the right and the bottom half of the pointy bush on the left. I love that you experimented to take a not too exciting sky and make it more dynamic! Great capture! Jan 11th
71 Jan 17 Comment I love all the different shapes in this shot. The round lake, square building, triangle roof. I like the split toning too. I haven't done any split toning, so I appreciate your sharing what you did. I agree with Marla on taking out trash can, sign and trees. It is a fun wintery shot. Jan 11th
71 Jan 17 Comment I loved this shot the minute I uploaded it! ;-) The curves feel so serene to me. I also love the ripples around the worker. I agree black and white is great. It makes the flat areas seem smoother. This is a great capture!! Jan 11th
71 Jan 17 Reply Thanks Marla!! I'm going to print both ways and see how they look. I appreciate your comments! Jan 11th
71 Jan 17 Reply Thanks Virginia! The fog was heavy and light was early morning. I don't remember if it was windy. I think this was the day it was raining too. For DOF, what part did you want to see clearer? Behind the tree is just more water. Jan 8th
71 Jan 17 Reply Thank Debi!

The contrast and saturation bump looks good. I know I upped it when I processed it. I miss the cypress trees too, now that I'm in new Mexico. They do have such character. I didn't notice the horizon being off, so thanks for that tweet. I do like the BW too. It has a crisper look and not so moody. I appreciate your help in making it a better shot. Thanks!!
