Nan, normally a viewers eye will go to the lightest part of the photo. I found that I did not do that, instead my eyes when directly to the roof tops and they directed me to the mountain and then to the sunrays and the clouds. Using Black and White really worked well for this picture. Good detail of the roofs of the courier station. |

Arne, you turned a not so good a photo into something that is interesting. I liked the way you lighten the rift in the clouds and then lighten the sky and the boat. Nicely done. |

Michael, this is a great shot with the long exposure getting the clouds moving and the water being smooth. Really like the log in the photo as something to anchor the viewers eye. I tried Larry's idea, and it might work. |

Larry, you do some of the most interesting photos, I really like this one and of course, the story that goes with it. I believe you brought the image alive with shooting low to make them stand out. |

This location in on my Bucket List, as it is with hundreds of photographers. I'll make it one day, hopefully in the fall. Your composition is very nice, better than many I have seen. It pulls the viewers eye to the mill and then to the stream, small water fall and finally to the reflection of the mill. You did a nice piece of work keeping the other photographers out of the photo. How long were you there and how many photos did you take to get this one? |

Ron, I really like this photo. Old cars, trucks just make my day. The Barber Shop with the barber pole and the "Red" door and the chair just make this picture. Were they really selling these vehicles? |

I agree with Tom that the lighthouse is leaning, but it can be corrected in Photoshop.
It's a nice lighthouse and one I've never seen. Must remember to find it the next time I am in the area. |

Don, I believe you did a wonderful job of blending your photos. The colors are wonderful, with great detail in the grass and the board walk. The sunrise is spectacular and the clouds really make this photo. |

Tom, I really like that you only used a part of the vehicle to get this picture. The detail is excellent. Nice work! |
