Larry, an easy way to correct the horizon is to use transfom and then distort. Just needed a very minor correction. |

Le, I'm sorry to hear you are leaving the group. You and the others in the group have really helped me understand the mistakes I have made and the way to correct them. Dick |

Looks like your decision to go out into the rain was a good one, Michael. I like the mood of the photo and the lady in front adds much to that. Nicely done! |

Bill, nice work, you took a so-so photo and changed it into a very good photo, Nice Work!
Only suggestion I have is maybe us curves to bring out the detail. |

George Houston's grown since I lived there in 1978/83. I found the picture to be a little flat, needing more definition of the buildings. The location you picked is a good one to see the skyline. I might suggest try using curves to bring out the defination of the buildings and adjustedthe colors slightly. Not big changes. |

Arne, I really like this photo of the solar panels. However, my eye went to the clouds first (brightest spot) rather than the solar panels. I adjusted the photo, darken the clouds and lighten the solor panels to bring the viewers eye to them first. |

Larry you accomplished what you were after. I really like the feel of a moody morning sunrise. Great shot and your explanation of how you did it will suit me well when ever I get out of the house and travel again to the seaside. Only 70 miles away, but might as well be 1,000. |

Le, sorry you couldn't find the stream for a reflection shot. I'm in Sedona a lot and could have assisted you for finding the location. Dick
First things first. Le, you need to blow up you photo to 300% to see and remove the dust spots.
For not being able to find the stream you have a good photo with the plants outlining the Cathedral. My suggestions are to crop the photo and to make slight adjustments to the colors using curves and color adjustments

Ron, when you use curves you are able to adjust the darkness in part of the photo and lighten other parts. I suggest you go to Utube and put in Curves. You see a demonstration on how to use them. |

Paul, your seeds are very sharp, but the rest of the photo is soft. If that was you intention, good. If not, then you need to set your f stop to f/16 or higher to get the rain drops in sharp focus.
I also darken the flowers in the back to bring out your flower. |

Ron, this is a nice shot of the canyon. Glad you were able to take a side trip to see it. I believe you have over saturated the reds in the mountains. If you lighten the valley with the road the viewers eye would go the brightest spot and then follow the road up. I also used curves to bring out the defination of the photo. |

Don, nicely done. Good decision to crop the right side and to clone out the sign. Nice composition with the tow truck being the whitest thing in the photo and then I followed it backd to the "Old Vehicle". |

Frans, this is a great shot. However, I thought you might have adjusted a littlebit more to make it an outstanding photo to show your friends what a little adjustment can do. I used curves and color adjustment to bring out the color of the ballon and to bring out the interesting landscape. On my next trip to Turkey, I will take the flight. Hope you don't mind I worked on your photo, just too good a photo. |
