36 Mar 20 Comment Bill, very nice picture. I agree with Larry and Michael regarding cropping both sides. This makes the Castle the main topic. Lighten the castle will draw the viewers eye to the castle. I also darken th forground grass and it brings out the mowing strips that lead directly to the castle. When I finished I liked your original much better, see mine attached. Have fun in the contest. Mar 15th
36 Mar 20 Comment Great image of the mountain. As all have said the clouds really make the difference between a so-so photo or an outstanding one. Yours is outstanding. Mar 13th
36 Mar 20 Comment Arne, I love this photo. The BW, mood just sets off the photo. I'm learning alot from how you set up the photos, Keep it up! Mar 13th
36 Mar 20 Comment Michael, this photo to me is just right. I liked the way the shadows on the right leads the viewers eye to the trees. I agee with Larry you may need to sharpen the trees. Mar 13th
36 Mar 20 Comment Larry, I liked the BW of the stump. Revised is much better without the artifacts. The color one would not have brought out the detail of the stump. The three creatures are a nice touch. The wolf, I believe, is in the center top of the stump. I also, would have had the horizon either above or below the middle. Mar 13th
36 Mar 20 Comment Le, boy did you get the comments, that's good. I agree with Larry, and I modified your photo the same way, but that's Larry and my opinion. Here's my modification of your photo. Mar 13th
36 Mar 20 Comment Arne, thanks for the compliment regarding photos. Everybodies comments, inclulding yours help me for the next shot. Mar 13th
36 Mar 20 Reply Michael , I should have used F/16 with the focus point about 1/3 into the road, and perhaps an ISO of 400. Mar 13th
36 Mar 20 Reply Le, I agree, having the camera lower would have perhaps been better. Mar 13th
36 Mar 20 Reply Larry, as usual your comments are right on target. I should have use F/16 to get the sharpness. ISO at 400 might have worked better. Mar 13th

46 Mar 20 Comment Ron, this is a excellent photo with sharp detail of the equipment front to back, with the trees outside the windows. Nice work. Mar 13th
46 Mar 20 Comment Paul, I liked the unusual shot looking down and the detail you have in the arch. Nicely done. Mar 13th
46 Mar 20 Comment Don, the final result is very nice. I agree with Marti, in the way you brought out the textures in the buildings. Mar 13th
