36 Dec 18 Comment I really like the simplicity of the photo. I was distracted by the two items on the right, so I took them out and added just a tad blue on the left. Nice composition.

36 Dec 18 Comment Arne, I like the settings you selected. Just enough flowing water with 1/10. Did you have a lens cover? I find the water droplets distract from the picture. I keep looking at them and not at the overall photo. Your composition is excellent.

36 Dec 18 Comment Bill, very nice shot of the rainbow and the valley. I changed the photo to be a panoramic and worked on the various colors. This brought the rainbow up in the photo and brought out more of the elements in the sky. Dec 9th
36 Dec 18 Comment Fantastic, for a panorama from a moving bus. I agree with Michael that a little cropping will give a better sense of panorama, and removing the dust. Nicely done, I might add a little contrast to bring out the design of the buildings. Dec 9th

46 Dec 18 Comment I liked the reds you brought out, however, the crome seems to have taken on the red, and doesn't look correct. I like the composition, but you need to work on the crome as I find it distracting from an otherwise nice photo. Dec 12th
46 Dec 18 Comment Wanda, I like the way you were able to bring out the colors of the horse shoe and the detail of the wood. Sometimes the simplest of items says more, much more that the wide photo. Dec 12th

46 Dec 18 Reply Yep, Death Valley has a year round waterfall. I've been in Death Valley a dozen times, and yet only this time did I find out there was a waterfall. I like your suggests regarding the ripples and the water color. The walk up wasn't bad, mostly a smooth 20 degree angle. However, toward the end we ended climbing over huge boulders and tiptoeing over marshes. Dec 9th
46 Dec 18 Reply Paul, you're right. If I could have I would have not had the branch in the photo. However, I was only 6 inches from the ground, and about 18 inches from the water. Someone else had taken a photo without the branch, but I think they brought waders to get into the stream. Next time I take this shot I'll bring a change of clothes and shoes, or carry waders with me. Dec 9th
