Phil, sorry for being so late responding to your photo. I've been working on company taxes that at due in January.
I like the scene and the colors, however, I wondered if you had repositioned your shot so the tree in front of the bridge would have been to the left of the bridge. I found it distracting in looking at the scene. Really enjoyed the light on the bridge and I agree with Arne remove the sign. |

Arne, what a wonderful photo. Really enjoyed the way you brought out the colors of the stream and a great job of cloning the foreground. Your lightening up the buildings on the right and the stream works. My eye was drawn to stream and then worked up the right side to the buildings in the back. This is a keeper! |

Le Tho Giao, nice to see you're feeling better, I hope. This is a very unusal photo of Balancing Rock, in that you have pulled the formations behind the Balancing Rock close to the Rock. I went looking on the web and could not find a photo of this formation like you took. Nicely done, finding a different angle to shoot. I like the way you bracketed the photo to bring out light of the bushes in front of the formation. Your clouds presented you with a very nice photo. Only thing I might change is to clone out the two people below the Balancing Rock. |

Paul, nicely done. Nice work on the flag, and the detail on the faces of the statue. |

Jeffery, not one of your best work. The cross and the area around and in front of the cross in final photo is blurry. I think you worked too hard on this photo. Suggestion: the trees in back of the cross should have been left dark as in photo #3. I would have looked for a different angle to shoot the photo, as I find the star very nice, but the cross leaves something to be desired. Perhaps a flash to bring out the detail in the cross would have helped. Also, I would have tried to have the star at the edge of the cross so both items are your main point. This is a very difficult shot to get and I don't think you are happy with the result. |

Wanda, I will go with the cropped (original 2). I believe I would have darken the area behind the guineas. In your Original 2 you can see how the darken area brings out the detail of the birds. You did a great job of taking out dirt on the windows. However, the area where the window reflection is seen in Original 1 is not good in your photo. I found it distracting, which is one reason I liked Original 2. |

Gary, I liked what you have done with the photos. I especially like the way you brought out the detail in the water leading to the covered bridge. It was the first area my eyes went too. I think I would have darken the area between the bottom of the covered bridge to the water line. This would help the viewer to define the seperation of the reflection and the hill. All-in-all a lot work on your part, but the result is very nice. |
