Group Round C/R Comment Date Image
36 Oct 17 Comment Leo, I see you are overseeing this Group. I need your email address to send you the photo for November. Dick Oct 19th
36 Oct 17 Comment Much better. Oct 6th
36 Oct 17 Comment Arne, I enjoyed this photo, the road invites the viewer to follow it to the village and to the ocean. The weed had to go. I believe, I would have removed some more of the power lines, as I find them a distraction. I keep trying to figure out what they were as I followed the road around the curve. Oct 5th
36 Oct 17 Comment Bill, it's a nice one point perspective by using the markings of the road to lead the viewers eye toward the clouds and the vast distances of that part of the country. Like the way you brought out the colors without over saturation. Oct 5th
36 Oct 17 Comment Nicely done. I agree with Bill that perhaps bringing out some definition in the shadows might enhance the image. I liked the way you used the curve of the beach to lead the viewers eye toward the color in the sunset. Oct 5th
36 Oct 17 Comment Michael, I like this composition, but I find my eyes wandering all over the photo. I'm wondering if you could have used F 5.6 to blur the background images, such as the building left of the Watch Tower, so the viewers eye goes straight to the Watch Tower. Oct 5th

46 Oct 17 Comment Jeffery, I've taken some time to respond to you regarding this photo. I find it very harsh and unpleasant for me. Then again, a lot of people think HDR sould look this way. I'm more into realism. I've liked most of your work, but this one just didn't do anything for me. Oct 19th
46 Oct 17 Comment Ray, I like the Field Blur on this one. Nicely done. Oct 8th
46 Oct 17 Comment Wanda, nice composition. My eye went to the trees in the background first. I might suggest you darken, just slightly the trees and the gravel along the river bank, this then would take the viewers eye to the colorful rocks and the river movement. Hope you enoyed your trip to Alaska, wonderful area. Oct 5th
46 Oct 17 Comment Ray, loved the way you used the Gassian Blur to enhance the viewers eye to the car. I find the trees on the edge of the top of the car distracting. I believe, I wold have removed them and the telephone lines. The blur was very well done, but I thing you might have left the foreground to give the car something to rest on. All-in-all nicely done. Oct 5th
46 Oct 17 Comment I liked the way you brought out the detail in the clouds and the trees. The reflection of the pond very well done. Good composition, as the focal point is the pond. You did a lot of work on this and it shows. Oct 5th
46 Oct 17 Comment Nice work of combining the three shots. Oct 5th
