What a fun and historical image. Never have been to Cuba, and this helps me to gain a little incite. How they love our "discarded" cars! Your composition, that I'm sure took some patience, looks like the are lined up to do a drag race. Your color adjustments and sharpening the background are perfect. |

Karen, I always admire your still life images--something I don't have patience for. It takes an artistic touch! I feel you have put together a good color combination and composition. Good job on adding canvas. I would never know. |

Thanks, Karen. Topaz can do some crazy stuff. Actually, the sky doesn't bother me since it goes with the other unrealistic colors. Unfortunately, this Topaz filter would not be allowed in our Club's competitions--so I just have fun here.
Happy New Year! |

Thanks, Piers. I believe the lower left corner is the center of the ferris wheel. Had I noticed it, I could have brushed in another color. |

Piers, that was quite a challenge with the busy-ness of the background but feel you have succeeded in getting what you were after. Our part of the country doesn't get brilliant fall colors, and I would have wanted to capture that also!. I do like Martin's partial rendition. |

Coming in at the end of the month and end of the year. What impresses me most about this image is the contrast of the two colors. That being said, in my opinion, your first edit is more striking. Congratulations on meeting the challenges of all the competing reflections! |
