You blew my mind with this composite and the story conveyed. I feel the tone you chose is just right for the ruggedness you conveyed. If he were a she, she would want you to take out wrinkles instead of adding. But I think HE would be proud of them! Nice job. |

It's a great challenge to not have edits allowed. Guess that is why I do so poorly in wildlife photography. You got your reflection, and I'm assuming the challenge was not to have the perfect outcome--but a good reflection. You did well with that! |

I feel you did a magnificent edit job. I would have trashed it before realizing how it could be saved. The pose is ideal for seeing the details and color of the feather. Great rescue! |

I know it's not a good shot compared to what I've had in the past. Couldn't get at an angle where I could see its face, and so many of the horses were wearing blinders. Must have had an ADD problem! The hedge is indented, and I did try to make more separation from the ear so that it didn't appear the ear was flying but didn't succeed. I think the jockey's whip is also blending into the harness. No control of the flag position if I wanted to get a FINISH line shot. Not the best shot but the best I had for the day! |
