I would have thought this was a model set-up all prepared for you. You couldn't have asked for anything better with her cute turned-up nose, smile, red lipstick--topped off with that green hat that gives the image texture. Great communication between the two of you that shows in the reflection! |

You are a braver girl than I, but it appears you knew what you were doing and planned it so well. I get the feeling you are about to be the bait for him with the look in his eyes and stature of his body. Well executed. |

Ahh, this is a great example of the minimalism that you said you liked in your biography. I like how it starts out fairly straight in the lower section and then bursts out at the top. The yellow draws me right into the purple. I can see a large print of this in a commercial building. |

When we did a river cruise several years ago, it was suggested that we have simple cameras with no additional lenses. I understood why when on the trip because I would be holding up the group. All shots had to be done quickly. Considering that, I believe you have done quite well with your composition and technical aspects. I think this would do well on canvas if you are allowed that in your spring show. |

Interesting that you have a black background. How did you accomplish that? I'm wondering if you had a portable board, especially using f/16 that gave sharp detail. I'm used to using more like f/5.6 for butterfly shots that gives you the green bokeh of the surroundings. But then it is difficult to get everything sharp like you have--other than the lower left flower. That caught my eye in the original, but I think you took care of that in the last edit with the vignette darkening it. Lovely! |

What stands out to me is the perfect diagonal of their bodies while they are still in a straight line. And I see three and one--three together and one separate at the end--rather than the different color. Never knew about pods or the juvenile is deeper brown. I think this would make a great print for a beach side home. |
