Thanks! Went to my originals and find that my sensor was really dirty when I did that sky shot! I'm bad about not keeping it clean. Will have to go to that sky shot and clean up. |

I must be into dehazing today. I took your image into Lightroom and added dehaze, which I feel brings out all the colors. Is this too much? |

Wow, Terri, your creativity is top notch. And so is your editing! I am sure a judge would say that this is a perfect image for a commercial building and printed very large. That being said, I feel that boat would need to be used for another version!
Well done, and welcome to the group.

Karen, your diting resulted in a very realistic shot, something that is difficult with all the shadows and hot spots in the clouds. I did take it into Lightroom and just slid the dehaze some to the right that increased the vibrancy but still looking realistic. I think the dehaze just perks it up a bit. I feel that your foreground could be cropped on the bottom--maybe about half way between the first row of weeds and the first unleafed tree line. Would love to have been there with you! |

Piers, I love barns and around here the old ones are difficult to find and usually on highways where you have no place to pull over. I think the barns were there first, and then progress brought in state highways! If you were asking, I like the original version with the two barns because of the slight contrast in color, especially in the sky. I feel like your edited version of monochrome puts too much emphasis on the sky. I like Martin's version of it also and wonder how that would look in the original colors. |

So much could be done with this for the story telling--even eliminating the person. That would cause a little drams. Yes, I also think that left print next to the shoes seems out of place. My eyes are still seeing a tilt at the horizon. Fun shot! |
