Oh, I think it is a perfect fun shot, and I think it still shows street photography with the gang celebrating, especially with the title. Wonderful facial expressions, color, focus! |

Looks like you could blow this over, and you may have captured the barn in one of its last days. I like your decision to use the colored version, especially in bringing out the yellow a little. I feel the sky is too dominant, and I wonder how a less busy sky might look--maybe more blue with some small puffy clouds. The blue might be nice contrast with the barn. If you have cropped this version, I think you should give a little more space to the left side of the barn and either less sky or grass so the barn is not centered. A fun find and usually so difficult to pull over to photograph! |

Jim, this brings back big memories of my elementary school days when I lived either in or near Chicago. Most every school year included a trip to the museum. Haven't been back there since, and I am sure I would appreciate it more now. I believe you did an excellent edit. We have a train museum near us in AR (more a warehouse), and it is so difficult to isolate a train because of ceilings, walls, and side displays. In my opinion you have made it appear to be in an enclosed station. The curved front and name appear to be high polished brass with beautiful contrast of the bluish walls. Great shot and edit. |
