Thanks, Martin. I think the sharpening in Topaz helped the detail in the feathers. |

Thanks, Piers. I did go back to try to turn it more to an orange, but I made it look worse. So for now I will leave as is. |

Thanks, Jaqueline. I, too, was surprised I was able to get a half-way decent image after the cropping. I agree that the added color has been captured by some of the birds. I'm wondering where the blue came from in the middle bird of the group. I didn't add any blue and didn't even notice it until this was posted. I should work with it some more if I ever use it for anything else. |

This looks so exciting. I know nothing about this horse driving and would like to know what it is called and where the event is. I feel like your subjects are very sharp, great action and intensity of all three can be seen. In the ideal world, it would be nice if we could see the horse's eyes, and perhaps you could lighten them slightly--or at least his left. As Martin said, the crop is a little too tight, but it's something only photographers notice! Great shot! |

My first impression of this shot is how sharp it is. There is so much to study in this image--my eyes go back and forth looking at their expressions, their clothes, and even the indifferent spectator who matches the window. Fun shot worthy of a local magazine! |

A beautiful specimen! Amazing they don't trip over their feet. I like the stance you caught him in with the different angles of his legs and feet--looks like he is doing a dance. And the concentration of the young woman! Perhaps you could crop to each side of the door and a little off the top to eliminate the garage door appearance and tone down the light coming through the window. Fun shot! |

It's amazing what a little bit of contrast can do to an image. I like what you have done here and think it would make a beautiful print for your office or a place of business, maybe a restaurant. My eye does immediately, though, get drawn to the bent blade. If you were to print, perhaps you could fix that. Have fun with your experimenting. |
