I love everything about this image and your editing. I know they say you should give room to breathe, but sometimes I believe cropping in tighter frames the subject better. It's a matter of style as to whether one likes the sharpening; I think in this you hit it to make the image pop, especially the water drops. He looks like he's about to pop out of the frame. In my opinion, fantastic!! |

I believe you got what you wanted--the speed. It's cropped well. Besides the speed, what attracts my attention are the numerous parallel lines all contrasting with each other. Fun shot.

I realized as soon as I saw my photo online that it was too blue. I've toned it down as well as lightening up the downhill grass section. Don't know if I improved, but I did find I like it in monochrome. What do you think? |

You must have used that long lens because I certainly could never get a photo of a squirrel around here without a long lens. I'm not sure I would have ever noticed that edge if others hadn't mentioned it. I now can understand how those squirrels can overcome most feed protectors with those long "fingers." Love how you captured its holding the acorn so delicately nibbling it, and the acorn appears to be so large. |
