Bollards--new word for me! They certainly are the focal point of your image leading the viewer to the colorful building. Great job in cloning the lines and pole, which must have been very tedious. I do feel that the tree needs some breathing room but not as much as Martin gave unless you want to add more of a city appearance. Although I wouldn't fuss at your having an even number of bollards, I do like Martin's elimination of one of them. Fun image! |

I believe you did a great job in finding these curved stamens to attract the viewer. Without the macro capture, I probably would never have noticed the curve. I agree I little more canvas at the top would help. It does not bother me that everything is not in focus because I feel the contrast to the sharpness adds to the story! Beautiful. |

Now that I am looking at the correct final copy, I can say I LOVE IT. I admire your diligence in the process you went through to accomplish this effect. Anything called layers frightens me! The colors are soothing, and I believe this would make a beautiful print. |

Getting in the show too late to say anything new. When I first looked at the image, what stood out to me was the fence did not appear to belong with the Indian. I feel you helped that by darkening it in your later edit. Also, I like the way you added space to the right and top that to me gave a more pleasing look. Love those colors! |

Am I the only one seeing my marbles from another month as the "original?" |

Before making any comments, I need help. Your Original 2 is showing the ducks with the blurred background. Is that supposed to be your final picture? Are they swapped? Confused. |
