Thanks, Jim. we recently had a program for our Camera Club with the guest photographer talking about weight in our images. I do get a little confused in how to avoid weighted and still keep the rule of thirds. Need to do some more studying on that! |

What a cool idea for framing. I feel you have done well with bringing contrast to the plants that give the image so much dimension. And the enhancement of the clouds give a nice contrast to the brush. My eyes are seeing the structure tilt to the right, but this may have been intentional. |

Jacqueline, I feel you have done an outstanding job of editing. The colors are serene, and I like the window looking at the city scape. I would suggest bringing back a little more water so that we can see that it is in fact water. If you are still able to keep in panorama form, I feel you could add a little to the top. Love the shot! |

I do remember your posting a Palouse image back when I first joined this group. I remember because it intrigued me so much, and I had never heard of it before then. I like the brownish color in the front patterns separated by the layers of green, followed by the numerous layers of green. Awesome catch! |

I love the geometric patterns that appear to be building blocks. Such fun colors. Although the shadow to the right is another good geometric pattern, my eye wants to stay on it. I would suggest lightening it some. I feel your sky blends well with the buildings. |

I have been to Sleeping Bear Dunes but never in the winter. I especially like the flow of the water leading me into the frame, the soft colors. The footprints don't bother me since it gives me another line to follow. Since the horizon is about on center, perhaps you could crop just a little off the bottom--though I do like that water. Just to have something to say on what I think is a perfect image, you could get a little definition in the trees by highlighting some areas. I wish I had a friend with a home there! |
