I went back to Nik and deleted out the neutral density filter. Is this still too dark? |

I understand what you mean but wanted to give the impression of missing that flight to Florida and getting late. I hadn't thought about it not looking natural because of the sun on them. Thanks. |

Looks like we were both into birds last month. I think your catch with the feathers all fluffed made the shot! I do like your original color because I feel it made a more appealing contrast to the birds, and it seems to me that the B&W is not as sharp. The stump so close to the back of the bird is a little distracting to me, and I think you could clone that to match the water. I do love those birds! |

Karen, I believe your images are swapped for original. So I am going to assume that and make my comments accordingly. I love your editing. The Noir filter really made the shades of the flowers pop. The frame chosen, I feel, adds so much also. My only suggestion would to not have the two sides so close to the framing, especially the left that has one of the petals nipped. Hope you saved the image in Nik so that you can go back to adjust--a nice added feature in their newest version. |

A wonderful image, Hung, that I believe is the Palouse Valley. I love everything about this--the rolling hills, the shapes, the variations of the colors, the mist. I believe you have two images--leave as is to show the contrast of the sky with the hills or do as Jim suggests and crop out the sky. Both would be beautiful. |

Jim, based on reading about you, this is certainly your love with the geological formation. Hard to believe this is just a 2x5 section. It gives me the feeling of a very large area leading me around with its curves and different shades of orange. I can almost feel the texture. I think it would be beautiful framed and in an Arizona home. Well done and welcome to our group. |
