How's this crop? I wish the bird weren't so low, but I certainly couldn't crop the upper part of the flower. |

Hung, you did it again with a capture of the arts. The dancers appear to be very sharp, the colors striking. I like the lines of the dancers, sofa, and the string of items on the floor leading out of the frame. I think if you had not framed the image, the black space to the right would not have been as effective. To me the spotlight that you have on the top center of the frame that appears to also spotlight the dancers really makes the image pop. Wonderful capture! |

Brenda, I like how you cropped the bloom to emphasize the stamens. I think the way you have edited the colors makes it look like a piece of art. I took it into Topaz impression and enjoyed the many different artistic effects you can get from this image. You might want to give that a try or some other artistic editing. |

Peacocks are a wonderful subject. I like that you saturated the blue a little and that you cropped it to bring it in closer to the viewer. I might crop just a little more at the top to decrease the busyness above his head. I tried using the LR graduated filter to decrease the exposure of the green on each side and liked how it accented the peacock more, leaving a high-lighted area around him. I'm sure you wanted the daffodils to still be seen, and adjusting the green exposure did not take away from that. |

Harry, I believe you got that perfect shot with the riders coming right at you that give me the feeling that you'd better move. I like the curve of the three riders, who appear to be sharp with contrasting colors, while having the fade out of the rider in the year. The dirt shooting up and the dust, I feel, show the action very well. My eye also is drawn to the two men in the upper right center, and I suggest that you clone out or soften them. Not necessary but just a suggestion. I love this action shot. |

Thanks, Jamie. Going to get it printed on canvas for the exhibit. |

Jamie, I had told you that I was going to wait until others made comments before making mine. The reason was I wasn't sure it was my monitor that was causing it to look so bright and liked the original better. I think your reworked image did it for me--looks more natural--very sharp and great pose! I love how he portrays the hot day that it was. |
