Thanks for the comments. I have been trying to reduce the green in the water but have not succeeded yet. Takes away too much of the sun reflection when I do that. It actually was the color on all my shots--guess the combination of the sun rising and my polarizer. I'm going to try some more. |

Wow, I never would have thought of doing that to do the eyes. Maybe I can do that to my eyes in the morning! |

Piers, I think this would be an excellent study of architectural lines. I do prefer the original with the water reflection showing and the different crop perspective. I believe the image has more possibilities if you brought out some shadows and added contrasts, especially the upper left of the bridge that has another interesting structural aspect. But afterall, it's a sunset picture with the natural shadows on the forefront. Love the lights. |

I especially like your choice of perspective of the image with the car appearing to burst out. To me your processing in NIK really makes the colors and detail pop, especially the contrasting colors of the rust, blue, and green weeds--and beautiful sky. Love it! |

Hung, I love this image. I believe it tells the story without your explanation--great street photography. I like the diagonal leading us into the image and the beautiful colors. My only suggestion would be to crop the top of the vehicle just a little to eliminate that green bag, which to my eye is distracting, unless those toes are important to you! Beautiful image. |

Laurie, are you taking orders? I love the colors and the curve that you have captured and the slight shadow on the lower edge. I have no problem with the black and think it anchors the image to the white. I feel your image is very sharp--can see every one of those perfect stitches. |

Oh, she looks so sad. I believe your colors are good with a great contrast to the bokeh in the background. Her eyes really bring me into the picture. Unless you have done it intentionally, I think that the body has an overall softness to it that could be sharpened somewhat. But the softness does add to the mood, and I am not suggesting you change it. |
