Malabika, this image reminds me of the scary movies of dinosaurs we used to see when we were kids. Your image, I believe, is very sharp showing all the great detail of this creature. I think the contrasting colors really make the image pop, especially with the good bokeh. Your composition leads me right thru the image stopping at the eye. Nice capture. |

Al, what a beautiful specimen this is! I believe the landing position you were able to capture certainly displays the detail of the wings, especially what I am assuming is the backlighting. I feel the background could be darkened some for more contrast to the owl. In order to take the emphasis from the branch, I would suggest cropping the lower portion of image to just below the left wing. |

Gary, I am impressed with your ability of getting this shot without a tripod and high overhead sun i believe the softness of the water is right on, while the rocks are sharp. My eye is drawn from upper part of your composition leading me out the lower. in my opinion the sun that you probably were fighting was well used to highlight the right spots. In a perfect world that small trunk in the left side would have disappeared for you, and I wonder if that could possibly be cloned Not a big deal, though. What priority setting do you use for waterfalls? |

Hung, I so much like your street photography. Even without your description, the image tells the story. The young boy's solemn expression is priceless. I believe your center of interest with the boy is perfect with his entering the frame, as well as the sharpness, and contrasting color to the background. Wonderful catch. |

Harry, i believe this image really pops with your choice of color tone. My eye has no choice but to go to the center of interest with the color as well as the position. I like the bokeh effect of the other fruit being out of focus. In my opinion the fruit just to the left of the red one is a little distracting and might have the gloss toned down to match the others. Nice shot that makes me want to test the pomegranate!
