Thanks Henry...I'll try to go back to 'unstraighten' my perspective attempts! |

Thanks, Charles...not something I'd normally think about for IR, but it seems to add some visual impact. "Breaking Away" is just up the road a few miles in Bloomington! |

Hi Steve,
I'm a little behind my cohorts, but let me express my welcome to you and wish you well in your continued pursuit of infrared images. As Jack mentioned, I am quite emphatic in my own work about strong/bold blacks and whites in my IR captures. I really like your reworked version. It is a continuous journey for all of us to use post-processing to our advantage on our final IR images. |

Hi Emil,
I love boldness in infrared, but this scene was handled very well in tonality and contrast. Looking at the original, I almost like the colored version...wonder if the black and white version would look good with a tone applied to the whole image? |

Well done Henry...I've been to Monument Valley but never took the time to look up the spot Forrest liked! I'd like the crop to be a bit more 'pano'...but that's a small critique. |

Hi Jack,
Before reading anything, I noticed the clipped tracks in the lower right. I wish you'd have gotten the full track in the frame to even further strengthen the leading line. Great subject and a perfect one for the use of infrared. |

How unique, Melanie! I would remove the second boat on the left and the obscure person in shadows/left. Beautiful location and glad you got a few of it in IR. |

So glad to see another member of our group choose IR for a portrait. What a superb application in this situation...subject, lighting and pose. Well done Charles. Kind of a nitpick...wish you could have retained the curved flower in the bright window...it seemed to add to the composition and accentuate the hand. |

Thanks Arik, I'd no more opened the DD66 site this morning and perused all the images...only to see the white spots in the back building for the first time! Easily corrected, but not an error I'd usually make. |

Brilliant, Arik!
Perfect application for IR, and your balance with the door and bike takes it up a notch from a straight shot of the building and foliage. Well done! |
