Hi Emil,
I darkened the corners in ColorEfex, lightened the opening into the tunnel ever so slightly to come up with the attached. For my eye, it has slightly more visual impact. You've really seen a nice subject and composition...a good image could result from either the landscape view or the square crop I think. |

Hi Henry,
I'm attaching a totally different view of this scene...and the guide from one of my former photo instructors to "isolate and simplify" echoes in my brain! This is just for what it is worth...maybe nothing. |

I like it as is, Charles. It's a stunning composition. If you wanted to do anything at all, it might be darken the lower left just a tad. This is a classic. |

Hi Jack,
I immediately got confused with the lily pond...but the darkened version is much better. I would lean toward the square crop as I'm not getting a lot from the r.h. side of this in terms of visual impact. |

My very first reaction on viewing this one, Melanie, was in line with Jack...that foreground seemed to dominate. Your revised version done for Emil solves that from my perspective. Great application of IR and used to give us both a story and a high impact image. |

Arik,
I like this a lot...the lines and angles all work for my eye. The processing that gets the tonality and levels so crisp and correct make it very memorable. A perfect IR application! |
