What wonderful resolution! I like the bald sky...it seems to just add to the desolation and starkness of the scene. That shadow so well defines the foreground and the stonework.		 Dec 11th

Great subject for IR. My immediate first reaction is that I'm confused by the composition and the merge of the building reflection with the pads. Also, my eye is immediately drawn to the very bright highlight of the growth popping up in the lower left hand corner. This is a good location to really work the scene and see what emerges as the strongest image from many taken.		 Dec 6th

You've captured the mood of the Badlands very nicely. I simply took Henry's lightened version and added a VERY mild vignette and applied Detail Extractor from NIK. What do you think of my rendition?		 Dec 4th

I think this has a wonderful mood, and I agree those lily pads in the foreground really pop out in infrared. I used Detail Extractor in NIK Color Efex Pro and find the sky detail added to be a plus. Also, I set a true white point in Levels as Henry suggested. Finally, there was something on the upper right edge that looked like an intrusion of some kind...out of focus...so I cloned in foliage. See what you think about the adjusted version. Personally, the boat is so small it adds little to the composition for my eye.		 Dec 4th
