Hi Henry...BEAUTIFUL! So well processed. Loved your original with your wife's hand! No wonder it has received the accolades and sales you mentioned. |

WOW, Emil!
One of your finest to date! It all works, and those stones in the foreground are simply magical in terms of the value to the composition. Hope you've printed this and have it on someone's wall! |

Hi Palli,
Without reading any other comments, my first thought about your image is its simplicity in subject but also its confusion in intent. Blending the natural foliage with the modern construction is confusing me visually. Just one opinion among the many! |

Charles, the blue toning is perfect for the mood and the story. As you probably know, I'm not generally a fan of this technique, but I sure am in this scene. That arc of light in the sky is wonderful. I agree with Jack that this would be great as a panoramic presentation, and I've attached my version. Look how all the lines in the foreground and road flow to the observatories. |

Greetings, Jack...you've given us some wonderful images from Cambodia in past months, and this one certainly adds to the 'story'. I like it very much. After looking it over and seeing how you'd processed it, I looked at your sepia version AND Palli's flipped version. I liked both ideas a lot. |

Hi Arik,
You've captured an ever-vanishing moment in Americana. Well done. I understand your personal use of the blue toning, but I still struggle to see how it adds value over the boldness of deep monochrome IR. Different strokes for different folks! |

Hi Melanie,
I simply love the story here. VERY well seen and captured. What an example of the simple life in Soweto! IR or not, this image works for me. The wall behind the woman is adding so much to the 'story'. |

Thanks for the feedback Palli. Please read my comments back to Jack...we will have to agree to disagree on the outcomes on this one...but that's the JOY of it all...our subjectivity! |

Thanks for the feedback Melanie. How we all see the world, right?! I wanted 'dark, moody, somber'...to put the emphasis completely on the ancient cemetery. Background detail in the mountains didn't matter...but we all see and react to others' images differently. That's the fun of DD66! |

Thanks, Jack...you have completely understood my intent with this one. It's meant to be dark, somber, moody, bold...after all, it's a cemetery! I saw no need to preserve detail in the background mountains and relished the wonderful cloud formations to add to the visual impact. |
