Hi Henry,
Thanks for your comments and reaction to this. It's definitely outside the norm. |

Many thanks, Arik. This was pure experimentation, and I enjoyed doing it. Your comments were most helpful...I will look at a reduced saturation version. |

Hi Henry,
This is certainly a novel composition of a scene not often photographed (if ever!) in IR. I must say, for my eye, the lines are confusing when you add in the foreground palm trees. I hope you shot multiples of this and may have another composition that is a bit simpler. Did you move in and take any with just the wheel and the zip lines? |

Hi Emil,
I like this very much. Your attention to the composition and choice of shutter speed has given us a relaxing and quiet look at nature up close. Wonderful framing. It's a keeper in my mind! |

Hi Palli,
For my tastes, the antique plate selection from NIK Silver Efex Pro doesn't fit this scene. I'd rather have seen it with bold blacks and whites that show textures and detail. Just one opinion of many. |

Hi Arik,
Here's another magical scene I missed! I like this a lot, and you've taken great pains in the post processing to insure it all works well together. The power lines and pole needed to stay in to complete the 'story' in my view. Very well done, Arik. |

Hi Charles,
This is superb! Great leading lines, strong blacks and whites.
I think the composition works so very well, and thanks for the 'bonus' inclusion of the two kayakers! |

Hi Melanie,
"Intimate" is the right word. I like it very much. In the attached version, I did one little thing...increased the Black channel in LEVELS. No contrast, no burning, no nothing but a cleaner black (in my view). Does it help? |
