Hi Emil,
Glad you got out and got some new IR images! I did the same for this month. The subject here, for my eye, is the triple tree trunks and the ferns. I found the background a distraction...just a personal opinion. See what you think of the attached version. I also lightened the tree trunks ever so slightly with the Lighten tool in PS. |

Hi Palli,
A most appropriate application of IR. I really like the lines in this, along with your post processing. I added one other adjustment for you to consider--Darken/Lighten Center added from Color Efex Pro to tighten up the scene a bit and keep you focused on the bridge. |

Hi Charles,
Well done! I like it. Your choice of a new composition suits the image wonderfully. |

Hi Jack,
Well seen! A gorgeous scene so very well composed. See my adjusted version. I did only 3 things--1) applied Detail Extractor to just the vineyard, not the sky area; 2) dropped in a Neutral Density filter to further darken and add mood to the sky; 3) set Levels to make sure I had a black point and a white point. You know me...I love the drama and the boldness that infrared affords us! |

Hello Arik,
I really enjoy you stepping out with something original. While I'm not sure about the partial blue, it's unique and eery. In the attached version from me, I straightened the horizon. The circled area in the foreground caught my eye and doesn't appear to be in the original capture? |

Greetings, Melanie,
I like it! Very haunting and quite unique. You have seen well in my view. Of course, I'd like a bit bolder contrast and stronger blacks, but that's a matter of personal preference. Glad you got this one and didn't worry so much about the frogs! |
