Thanks very much Emil. It is nice to have a good subject who also happens to be our granddaughter. Her hourly modeling rate is quite modest...ha! |

Appreciate your comments, Charles. You may have solved the white dress mystery! I'll continue to research this a bit. |

Thanks Palli,
This whole shoot was spur of the moment. Thanks to our dear granddaughter for humoring old grandpa and going out for a few images in infrared! |

Greetings, Henry...
Yes, Jack and Palli have said it all...we need a bit more 'punch' in this one, and I feel that Palli's revised version is right on the money. |

Hi Emil,
Great subject, but I can't get past the foreground blur/depth of field. The upper 2/3rds is quite impressive. |

Hi Palli...
I really enjoy the subject, and "Flood" is perfect for it. I also like the wet glass effect. What is troubling me is the sepia tone...I don't see a relevance for it to the scene being photographed. Here's my adjusted version...along with Glamour Glow in NIK Color Efex to minimize the drops that are appearing to be digital noise. What do you think? |

Hi Charles,
I'm enjoying the whole scene...the composition is splendid in my view. I did a little adjusting...darken/lighten center in Nik Color Efex Pro, added Detail Extractor (Color Efex Pro) to the light sky and darkened it ever so slightly. It looks a little stormy now! See what you think. Again...liking this image, subject and composition. |

Hi Jack,
Artsy! I like it a lot...but I feel you need more foreground. You can add that pretty easily in PS. The twig's a nice little inclusion in my view...leave it!

Arik...I like it very much...the sharp face makes it for me. I am confounded somewhat by the bits of blue. It's wonderful to see you using intentional blur in infrared to create something different. |

Hi Melanie,
To my eye, the two subjects conflict with one another. I'd have preferred either the junked truck or the shed, but both together doesn't excite me. They actually merge a bit. I sure liked your views of this area in last month's submission. |
