It's me again, Emil! A day later and another cup of coffee, allow me to submit this one for you to ponder. I, too, was troubled at the bland appeal of the structure in the water, so I've removed it in this version with Content Aware Fill and some cloning. I added Medium Contrast. I also darkened the very bright mass of cloud in the lh third under the arch. What do you think? |

Hi Palli,
I like this. I could take it precisely as you've presented it to me. When I look at your original, I see a whole other rendition. I have taken the liberty of modifying your view of the lighthouse in the attached. I used perspective control to slightly straighten and flatten the lighthouse, corner burning, content aware fill on the family walking down the path, and selective noise reduction. Lastly, I selected the lighthouse and very modestly added some detail enhancement. My view is a bit more 'environmental' and of course, doesn't have the stream at the bottom. What's your view of this version? |

Hi Charles,
I started into this gorgeous scene, reading from left to right and...clunk..I hit the tree trunk! VERY subjective feeling, I know, but I so enjoy the scene without it. Your post-processing is superb, and even though you have a very small niggle of blown highlights...it doesn't merit changing them in my view (tips of trees in the distance). See what you think of this version. Like everything we suggest to one another, you can find it helpful...or not! |

Hi Melanie,
Fascinating place...and a country I have yet to visit. I think the sky needs some darkening and drama in this one to enhance the visual impact. Here's my attempt. I just used the Lighten/Darken Corners, lightened the nests and the f/g bird and removed a section of lighter turf on the far lower rh corner. See what you think. |

Greetings, Jack...
This is a fantastic capture in my view...I absolutely relish finding scenes like this. The sky was your friend that day!
Here's my version...it may or it may not add value to all those pixels you have already captured! I simply added Detail Extractor for more cloud details and 'whispiness', darkened the corners and added just a dash of contrast. If you like the softer sky, doing two out the three things I did might be your cup of tea. Splendid image. |

Hi Emil,
My first impressions of this image were very positive...I really like the composition, the sky, and the detail front to back. Well done indeed. If you have DxO's NIK ColorEfex Pro filters, try Detail Extractor on this and see how they compare side to side. If you don't, add a dash of contrast and see how they compare. |
