Mysterious and mystical...nicely done John.
This is a most effective color palette to my eye. |

Hi Palli,
Sorry to be so late! I signed on early and don't think yours was up when I commented that day. I like it as is, and it tells me a great story. I normally always photograph people in this kind of image walking away from me. You don't have to deal with any effects IR may have on the faces or features that way. This is brilliant as a vertical. Well done! |

Hi Emil,
Just in time...sorry I'm late. I really like it. Classic IR. Sign's not an issue as non-de as it is. My only suggestion would be to check Levels and make sure those tree leaves are white white. Excellent image. |

It makes a splendid Monochrome as well, Charles. This is with Silver Efex Pro on the High Dynamic preset filter. |

Hi Charles,
I like it very much...it portrays beauty and tranquility to my eye. I read the camera data...so are you using a 590nm filter to simulate IR, or have you had the D7000 converted? I wasn't sure. |

Hi Melanie,
I sure appreciate and enjoy 'grab shots'. This one is no exception. The tree trunk merging with the horse is a show-stopper for me, however, and I don't get the fairy tale mystery that you do. Does a bit of reduced contrast and some fog in the air per the attached image help to create more mystery??? |

Jack,
I love it just the way it is! The stark blacktop road, coupled with the double-white (yellow) lines leading to infinity, plus the cloudless sky, all resonate with me to provide a photograph with high impact. The depth of field is impressive, and the technical details all spot on. Great one, Jack! |
