Tranquil scene and a perfect subject for IR, Emil. It does, however, need contrast in my view. Here's my version, with the sky selected and Detail Extractor applied from NIK ColorEfex, then added medium contrast to the whole scene. To my eye, there's more drama and impact in this version. |

Hi Charles,
The high contrast and the lack of critical sharpness trouble me with this one...perhaps that's a result of the landscape crop. The subject and the leading road is just excellent and a good place to use IR in my view. |

Just stunning, Ernie. The composition is classic and so perfectly executed. Ansel would be happy with this one. One thing you might try...dodge the very top of the foreground rock a bit to see if you can get some separation from the sky and clouds. |

Hi Melanie,
Really like the natural feel of this...candid with IR to enhance the effect. The twin tree trunks give a nice balance to the cyclist. My only problem with this is what is he doing with his left hand? It, to my eye, reduces the simplicity and naturalness a bit. |

Hi Palli,
Perhaps a traditionalist with this one, I am not keen on the horizontal crop, nor do I particularly resonate with the Creative Flat Green tonality. This is probably a classic example of 'subjectivity' to the fullest, or, the old cliche...beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Here's my version, and Nik Glamour Glow gave it the smoothness, along with Darken/Lighten Center. Mono treatment came from SilverEfex with the Full Dynamic Soft preset. |

Jack...
The clouds have it! Beautifully seen and executed. I can't suggest a single improvement. |
