Greetings, Emil...
I thought it flat when I opened it. I simply adjusted Levels to give it a white point and added a dash of contrast. To my eye, this is an image with greater impact in the adjusted version, fully using the IR effect. See what you think. |

Hi Palli,
The effect you've worked to create is very pleasing...well done for working to be 'different'. In this case, given you want to simulate moon light, I added 55% Glamour Glow from Nik ColorEfex Pro. To my eye, this looks more true to moon light. I also thought the foreground could be lessened to accentuate the white fencing and idea of a pano view of the home. See what you think of my version. |

Greetings Charles...
I liked it the moment I first saw it and still do...in my view, you're a bit harsh on yourself about the haloing and the darkness of the sky upper left. Works for me as is. Love the leading lines from foreground to bridge to tree. |

Simple, stunning, and powerful. Print it...or enter it in PIDM digital...very, very nice. |

Hi Ernie...
Very first impression...love to see you shooting something in IR with backlight...very difficult but good to see it done differently. Then, I thought we just must brighten the foliage and darken the areas around the wonderful door. Here's my version. I read Palli's comments and see we are of like minds. I think this would make a fantastic print on a mat paper, but I believe it must be lightened in key areas, darkened in others, to have impact. Palli's version also shows some artifacts appearing in the sky area above the foliage? |

Melanie...strong image visually and technically. My only one suggestion, which isn't now possible, would have been to be slightly left of where you shot from to not clip the mountain peak in the background with the tree on the right. Strong blacks and whites. |
