Top marks for all the efforts and the learning, Emil! I like this scene very much. It's also fascinating to see it in Color IR. Like you said, I'd prefer bolder colors and contrast in the scene...but well done on experimenting with gradients. |

Very good IR application. The subject overall doesn't grab me with a lot of visual impact, however, and just doesn't inspire me to think of the art in this image. VERY good management of the tonal range in the scene. |

Melanie...the mood of this is very appealing. I'm really captivated by the scene overall. The small version you've provided does not appear to my eye to be tack sharp...perhaps it is in the original. Also, I think there's more to be gotten out of that sky from what I see in the original...try selecting just the sky and applying Detail Extractor to it from NIK Color Efex Pro. |

Really enjoy the tranquility and peace of this image, Jack. Also the toning really appeals to me. Bold move to keep the house in shade with a sunny background...and it works splendidly in my view. I have no suggestions for improvement. |
