Hi Emil,
Simple and effective in my book, Emil. I feel the post-processing has been done quite well. My only constructive improvement would be to have a person or bike or cart or something of interest going up the roadway. |

Hi Palli,
Wonderful subject and very effective post-processing in my view. The overall presentation is, however, quite confusing to my eye, with the white background pulling me away from the curious tree stump and tea kettles. I wonder if just a segment of the tree would have delivered an image with greater impact and lessened the confusion? This might be a good example of the old saying...less is more. |

Hi Melanie,
I really like this...so nice to see IR employed for a photo of a person. Results are often very very 'unusual', but this one really works for me. I thought at first the face was 'soft', but the eyebrows and lashes say otherwise. You might just selectively sharpend the right eye/brows a little more. Wonderful crop and a nice feel to this overall. |

Very well done, Jack...all the way 'round. Yes, I agree very much on your crop. IR adds that extra dimension to this scene and certainly takes it out of postcard-y from my perspective. |
