Beautiful, Palli! Glad you DIDN'T have big white puffy clouds, which we usually covet in our IR landscapes, as it would have confused the scene in my view. The perspective, deep blacks and clear whites speak well to your post-processing! Again, welcome to the group. |

First visual reaction...I like it just the way it is! I would change nothing. Very well seen, Melanie, and indeed it's a place well worthy of a visit. |

I like this scene from the perspective of balance and the use of IR, Nathan. Might I suggest the white specks in the sky be cloned out and also the bird in the foreground water...not enough detail to leave it in from my perspective. |

Craig,
Looking forward to your IR from Yellowstone! Thanks for showing us a color IR...something that I find difficult in terms of the final rendering. This image, while you likely had the right perspective, just troubled my eye with the slanted horizon/bank of the water feature and the lack of detail in the top rh corner. I used the ruler tool to straighten the horizon, masked the sky and added a graduated blue and a graduated ND filter in NIK ColorEfex Pro. To my eye, it has more impact now. See what you think. |

Welcome Palli! I noted the dark outline when preparing this. It's a function of the post-processing. Given all the unusual outcomes from IR, I noted it but didn't personally consider it objectionable. |
