The red object in the lower right corner its a wheel. It is ok if you are not a car expert. It is my job to create an image that makes sense. I did not originally plan to include the woman on the left of the photograph. She stuck her head into the car just at the moment as I was taking the picture. I think the image does look better with a different crop treatment and background. Â |

I like the perspective you selected for the light house and the rocks in the foreground. My comments should be considered minor vs. overall impact of the photograph. - Nice Job! There is a small halo around the lighthouse that appears to related to the post processes.- to me it does not look natural. Remove a few dust spots from the sky. The orange light spot on the far right rocks should be removed. Consider adding more dark -to-light gradient on the foreground to help move the viewer's eyes toward the light. As I look at the scene, I would expect the foreground nearest me to be darker. |

Valerie, I like the bolder colors. You may consider an even closer crop. I am not sure the tops of the buildings add much to the story.

Beverly, I think you are headed the right direction. The hard part of changing the background is getting a final image that looks like an original. I think a closer crop would help and you may consider adding some texture to the background. |
