Margaret, I like the color and patterns. When I first see the image, it looks like the photo was taken with a wide angle lens because of the curved lines in the railing. I find this a bit distracting. Try to straighten the image using the transform feature in Lightroom or Photoshop. |

Ahmed, I love the shot! The composition is good and the wave show a lot of energy. I love the way the line in the foregound leads the eye to the crashing wave. The overall color looks too blue to me. In looking at the photo it looks like a bright afternoon or morning. It is a matter of interpretation, but I think by warming up the colors and opening up the shadows could add even more energy and crispness to the Image. This photo is a bit over the top, but it is a direction to consider. |

A moving boat at night? You get a high score for difficulty! The white lights seem to be overexposed. This may be why they may appear to be over sharpened. It would be interesting to see if photoshop mask(s) in curves would help to bring down the whites a bit. |
