58 Aug 22 Comment A well composed image of two elderly hands with extending arms cupping a diagonally placed pipe. The use of DOF comfortably draws and keeps the viewer focus on pipe and hands. Great DOF control, I think. Pipes and it's tobacco are often thought of as being smooth and favorable with an appealing (to some) odor. Here we see the tasty smooth contrast with the rough and aged. Nice! Aug 21st

58 Aug 22 Comment A great hip shot! I like how the barber appears sage and pensive - much on his mind. I'm curious, do the wood shutters go up each not when closing? Aug 7th
58 Aug 22 Comment An interesting photo. I agree too bright in upper right and hence the need for Isaac's correction. Adding light to door also an excellent edit. Personally, I like this photo a lot. It has texture, lines, color, and geometric shapes and tells a story that you obviously wanted to catch. Its something we might observe daily and simply walk on by. Also interesting, you chose to stand left of center. Why? Your reason/comments as well as others are being solicited. Aug 7th
58 Aug 22 Comment Everything about the image signifies fun. And colorful too. I agree with Isaac's comment good POV as I'm pulled into the action. Thanks for sharing. Aug 7th
58 Aug 22 Comment Special.
The young girl knows she has the coolest if not greatest dad in the world. I agree with Bruce's comments about the background trees. To me the collards and trees create tension as the collard appears to be an extension of the trees. The timing and witnessing of the event, I can only imagine the pleasure it brought you.
