Bruce, leaving the feet and shoes in gives the image and the subjects a grounded feeling. I like how the statue appears to be framed by the ladies outstretched arms and hands. Curious, any idea what the black spots on the column are? |

Yes Les, a pic that brings smiles. I agree with Bruce comments having a tighter crop however my preference would be to keep 3 penguins on the left. I love the interaction and the happiness it brings. |

Two pictures this being the first. The children were at left shoulder behind me. A simple turn, focus and click. They did become aware, shied away and backed into a wall at their right. The photo was shared with parents via email and with approval allowed me to keep. |

Humor in beautiful color and wildflowers. As stated before me, a higher camera angle would give us less bottom. With that, I think the lens blur would be a nice touch. |

Great image. b&w works best for me as does Isaac's crop. All agree about the men in upper left. Add to it is the letter "A" almost center over car. As if an award, the car is A rated. Cool. |

Playing "Which of these things doesn't belong?" Chairs lol. What's missing? Mama san. I do see the chop sticks left untouched. This photo, having lived in Japan (3 yrs) brings many smiles and warm memories. I just showed wife Kathy who immediately said chairs don't belong and missing the Japanese mama san lol. We also know exactly what every food item is. Yes, even those in covered bowls. Our daughter was born in Tokyo and had dual citizenship until age 18. Yes, lots of fond memories. As for the photo, it tells the story of visitors unsure if not lost in a foreign country. A close up of one individual and their meal would not have told the story. Good decision. Thanks for the memories. |
